Ally Sheedy Bio

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor from the United States. Her first film role was in Bad Boys (1983). Then she became part of the Brat Pack and went to appear in the films WarGames The Breakfast Club, WarGames, and Short Circuit. Sheedy was awarded an Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead for her part in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art. On the 12th of April, 1992, Sheedy was married by actor David Lansbury, the nephew of actress Angela Lansbury and son of Edgar Lansbury the original producer of Godspell. They also have a son Beckett who was born in 1994. Beckett is transgender and who's transition Sheedy states she's had a great experience. Alexandra Elizabeth Ally Sheedy, born June 13th 1962 in New York City is an American stage and film actress. She is also the author of two books. Her greatest fame is her performances in the Brat Pack movies The Breakfast Club and St. Elmo's Fire. The Breakfast Club is the name of a John Hughes-directed film. The title of the film, "The Breakfast Club", is a play on the name of a school for detention. Students are most likely to show up at detention by the time for breakfast.
